Lin ZeXu's statue at Chatham square was seen on a recent PBS Frontline Investigation: The little-known story of the only US bank prosecuted in relation to the 2008 financial crisis http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/film/abacus/   from acclaimed director Steve James.

Lin ZeXu’s statue (as was Confucius' statue, a moment earlier in the film) was shown during the buildup to the conclusion.

Starting at the 1:07:53 mark in this story about the government going after a small bank that serves the NYC Chinatown community, the narrator presented the special needs of the market being served.  Even Fannie Mae had recognized and praised Abacus Federal in its efforts to serve this special market.
